Tom McNeill – Chief Operating Officer
Tom has been with the Agency since it opened in March 2003 and assumed the role of chief operating officer in December 2003. After 19 successful years in the healthcare field, he entered the insurance industry in 1998. His experience in hospital and physician practice management, along with five years of service at the Missouri Hospital Association, make him uniquely qualified to serve you through the Agency. He is responsible for agency development, interaction with insurance carriers and actively markets professional liability.
Ryan J. Thomas -- Property & Casualty Specialist
Ryan also joined the MSMA Insurance Agency in March 2003. He has over 10 years experience working in Jefferson City-based property and casualty agencies. Mr. Thomas is responsible for all property/casualty and workers’ compensation business, and is a customer service representative assisting with the Agency’s professional liability market.
Barbara joined the Agency in September 2004 as business manager. She has more than 15 years insurance experience.
Ronnie Staggs – Vice President, Benefits
Ronnie joined the home office staff on April 4, 2005. He has more than 10 years of experience focusing on individual and group health and benefit programs. Ronnie heads up the statewide program for agency health and benefit sales and marketing.
Debbie joined the Agency in January 2007 as a customer service representative for the life and health market. Her primary responsiblities include assisting Ronnie Staggs with marketing, rating and proposals. She has more than 7 years of experience focusing on group health and benefit programs.
Mary Hogan joined the MSMA Insurance Agency team on March 14, 2005, and is a former broker with Diederich Insurance in St. Louis. Mary is located in our St. Louis office, providing assistance for St. Louis and the surrounding area. Mary's direct phone number is 314-989-1014.
Jessica Rooney - Property and Casualty Specialist
Jessica joined the MSMA Insurance Agency in October 2007. She has more than 6 years of business experience in client support and currently is studying for her property and casualty insurance license. Mrs. Rooney is a customer service representative assisting with the Agency’s professional liability market.
Darren Freese joined the MSMA Insurance Agency team in April of 2008. He formerly was a State Farm Insurance agent based in Central Missouri. Darren primarily works with professional liability insurance; however, he is licensed to sell property and casualty, life and health so he can assist with all of your insurance needs.
