Cox Health Plans have expanded their kids’ only policies to include 25 additional counties in Central Missouri and Southeast Missouri along with the already 26 counties in the Southwest region of the state.
Professional Liability
The Missouri State Medical Association Insurance Agency offers professional liability products for physicians and staff across Missouri, Kansas and Illinois. Your Agency is controlled by a board of directors (consisting of your peers from the MSMA) and currently has contracts with multiple insurance companies licensed through the Missouri Department of Insurance.
We offer multiple stock and mutual carriers providing options for your coverage. Wide ranges of discounts are offered for group practices, along with discounts for good practice management. All companies offer prior acts coverage from your current company. Additionally, all specialties are covered. Your options will be limited only by your prior practice history and your risk tolerance.
Some of the companies that we represent are classified as "mutually assessable" or "Chapter 383" companies. They are organized under Chapter 383, R.S.Mo, under which physician-policyholders are owners and are subject to assessment for any losses or distribution of equity interest and profits earned by the company.
